Q: Tell us who you are and how you started to make music!
XAAR was born during Covid 19 in Glasgow Scotland formed by Kenny Lehan (Vocals, Bass, Synth, and Guitar).
Q: What inspires you to write and create songs?
XAAR’s main inspiration comes from dystopian and post-apocalyptic themes, Darkwave, and Industrial genres although there is no limitation on genre or direction with strong experimental instincts.
Q: How would you describe your sound to someone who’s not heard your music before?
Modern metal collided with industrial and dark synth-wave.
Q: How would you describe your latest release?
Final Light? Instrumentation was recorded remotely between XAAR and producer Steven Jones (Bleed From Within) with vocal takes recorded in person (same process as DESTABILIZE and River of Bones during Covid-19)
